At PT Mitra Ayu, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in all our products. Recently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued Import Alert 99-52, which addresses the detection of the radioactive contaminant Cesium-137 in certain products originating from specific regions on the Island of Java and the Lampung Province of Sumatra, Indonesia.
We understand that this alert has raised concerns among our partners and customers. As a responsible producer and exporter of Indonesian essential oils, natural isolates, oleoresins, and resinoids, we take such regulatory updates seriously and have conducted a comprehensive review of our sourcing and production processes.
After carefully reviewing all raw materials purchased within the past 12 months, including Massoia bark, Patchouli, Nutmeg, and all other raw materials used in our production, we confirm that:
None of our raw materials originate from the regions specified in the FDA Import Alert.
None of our products are processed at or near the affected areas.
Our facilities and suppliers remain in full compliance with applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
